This blog will be set up for approximately two weeks. It is set up to further discussion and allow for other questions to be answered. I would ask that the comments remain respectful or they will be removed.
Where does conflict begin? Some would say from within... each of us is an individual unit of either peace or conflict dependent upon our present state of choice.
Sometimes it becomes harder to choose a state that is not fear or anger and induced by our backlogs of stress and fatigue that may have accumulated and gone unchecked over time in our "go-go, can't stop," post modern lives.
I propose that we find a solution towards stumping the roots of conflict by offering a technology of peace that has been proven around the world to reduce conflict and enmity time and time again.
Individual stress that goes unchecked can lead to personal inner/outer conflict which then becomes reflected in a society as a whole. To handle and dissolve this pathological enemy of stress, we have to get deeper rest incorporated into our daily life stream - this is most accomplished through simple practices like the Transcendental Meditation™ program - www.tm.org - that one can learn easily.
Let's begin with ourselves first, our community first - local action had always been the prime motivator and catalyst for change - critical mass can be the most effective leverage in being the change you wish to see...
